Brighton Tri Club, is a vibrant 'Star Mark' accredited triathlon club, based in Brighton & Hove (adults) and in Ringmer (juniors), East Sussex, and catering for adults and children (aged 8yrs to 17yrs) of all abilities and levels of experience in the sport. In 2015 we were voted the Triathlon England Club of the Year, something that we were, and remain, very proud of having only been formed in 2013.
The club currently has over 250 members of all ages. We have found that over 50% of the adults joining our club were complete novices in the sport at the point of joining.
So, what do we have lined up events wise for the 2017 season? Feast your eyes and challenge yourself by entering some of these;
- Go Tri Pells Pool Aquathlon race series takes place on various Wednesday evenings during June, July and August 2017
- Go Tri King Alfred Aquathlon free event, 28th June 2017
- Palace to Paddle 2.5km Open Water Sea swim on Saturday 1st July 2017
- Paddle Junior Open Water Sea swim on Sunday 2nd July 2017
- Bri Tri Kids Triathlon, Steyning on Saturday 19th August 2017
As a club our aim is to provide a fun, friendly, inspirational and supportive environment in which to learn and develop skills and fitness for triathlon, through regular structured training and quality coaching with like-minded people. Go to Join us to find out more, check out our Training page for the latest session info and our Sussex Tristars website to find out more about the junior section; or simply email us if you have any questions. You are always welcome to try us before you join.
We pride ourselves in being an inclusive and welcoming club supporting many people through their first triathlon alongside our experienced athletes, a number of whom represent Great Britain in international age group races. As such the club is open to all regardless of experience, background or ability. If you want to be involved with triathlon, we'd love to train with you!
